This town, far about 10 km south of Amman, contains a Roman temple building that was later converted into a Byzantine church. Its dimensions were about 50 meter * 20meter . The most prominent remains were represented by two columns decorated with Ionic capitals, in addition to the mosaic floors that decorated the Byzantine church. The building was used for as housing place in later periods. Among the archaeological remains found is the eastern burial , which is the remains of a square-shaped building, contained inside it a stone sarcophagus dating back to the Roman period. The northern cemetery, or the so-called Rodaina Palace, is a rectangular building.
