The cultural prosperity of the area of  Iraq Al Amir can be seen by the monumental building  of  Qasr Alabad , which is located in a lower point at the road to Jerusalem. It is a rectangular building, was surrounded by reflecting pool and a defense wall.  The building consists of two stories; the lower has several rooms which used for storage, and the upper story used for living and ceremonies. Significantly, the walls of the palace were decorated with 16 carved lions and lioness.
